Do I need a straight through or a crossover connection Cat 5e cable.

The Netgear FS108P is the recommended ethernet PoE switch. It requires a standard Cat 5e cable to connect from the the RJ45 sockets on the switch to the RJ45 sockets on the module. Correct connection is indicated by the illumination of the PoE LED and the flicker of the activity indicator.
